In the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals in floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze in the balance beam. She was one of the few American to be awarded the most Olympic medals. In 2016, the Olympics brought her a gold at the team competition, which earned both she and Gabby the honor of being the only Americans to ever win consecutive team golds. Additionally, she took home two silver medals in the floor and for the individual all-around. Three years had passed between her last appearance in competition gymnastics. Her gold medal winning American team also won two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport since age of 2 and her favourite event is Floor Exercise. Aly gives her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. Aly hopes to be an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden the line of socks and leotards in the coming years. Fierce will be out at the end of summer.
